Failed Before The Ink Was Dry

I've heard a lot about the issue of repossession, but that's not what lead to the death of the one person who meant the most to me.
Lynn was my heart and soul, my everything. When she was caught in a robbery and took a bullet to her lung, it didn't take a second thought to agree to whatever GeneCo offered to save her. She wasn't home from the hospital a week when her health began to fail - Lynn was constantly coughing up blood and pus. We went back, were told that she was the fifth person to get these lungs. She died the next day, unable to breath on lungs that should have been destroyed after the first or second transplant. No need for a night surgeon when you can kill people by giving them worn-out organs, right?

Too Drunk to Care...

Well, where do I start My brother Jake Morris., was 35 years old and was an Alcoholic,A year ago He was diagnosed with Cirrhosis. It was no big shock He started drinking at the age of 12.The Doctor had told him a way he could save his liver. He handed him a GeneCo buisness card and told him to get in touch with a friendly Gentern. So he did, I went down to GeneCo with him for suppourt.,in my eyes he was given a second chance.Anyways the Genterns were friendly, helpful, and beautiful. So we sat and waighted until he was called in.Jake had picked out a payment plan and then scheduled a Surgery date for the following week.A week After the surgery he looked like he was on top of the world and GeneCo had his first payment already..But then my brother started drinking heavily again.I would warn him about reading the fine print when it comes to GeneCo.,But he didnt listen Alcohol was the only thing he sought.Four months after Jake's surgery I get a phone call from his ex-girlfriend telling me she had found him in a bath tub with his side sliced open like someone had gone and taken his liver. If it was'nt for the fact that my lil brother was a drunk.I would say he didnt deserve this. The man was given a second chance and he spent it sitting at the bar.,Not carring about the world arround him.GeneCo on the other hand has to be stopped...I herd stories about them and now I am part of there twisted plan to take over the world.

Indian Giver

When my 21 year old daughter lost her legs in a freak shark accident..the doctors told me she would disfigured for life and that she would never be able to run on her college track team...but as we were rushed into the hospital.,I was greeted by a Gentern who told me that my daughter could have her life back instead of being stuck in a wheel chair...Needless to say I had to do what I thought was right.,With my Husband working two jobs to keep our morgage payments steady. We were offerd an affordable payment plan..But soon after My Husband was killed in an armed robery attempt..needless to say my daughter now sits in a wheel chair cursing GeneCo..Thanks GeneCo for being the greates Indian Giver.

Another pregnancy-related horror story

"My wife and I wanted to have children desperately, but she had a hysterectomy due to uterine cancer early in our marriage. At the time, we rejected a transplant on grounds of finances and the thought that we would be able to adopt. However, it was those reasons of finance that lead to the government adoption agency turning us down. They suggested contacting GeneCo. A year later, set up with an easy payment plan, we were well on our way to becoming parents. We were on top of the world. However, the pregnancy was troubled from the start - she had to quit her job due to severe morning sickness, and wound up hospitalized several times due to various pregnancy-related complaints. While in the hospital, 28 weeks into the pregnancy, she acquired a vicious staph infection. The Genterns, supposedly the caring nurses of our new age, informed me that she may not make it. My wife and I had discussed this possibility before and decided to give the baby a chance at life, so I pushed for a C-section. I was prepared for a discussion, perhaps even an argument, about the risks related to how premature our child would be. Instead, I was told that we had fallen behind on our payments due to her hospitalizations, and that even if everything was on time, there would be no damaging of GeneCo's property. I protested that plenty of women can undergo multiple C-sections and still be just fine, but it didn't matter. They told me she was going to die anyway, and that they were doing me a favor by waiting until her death to reclaim their property. I lost my wife and child because they were more concerned over an organ and profit than human lives."

Cleaning up the city since 030 my ass!

Anna Winegardener from Vermont writes in:

"There wouldn't be any need for GeneCo's "cover up" crew if there weren't what are basically legal paid assassins roaming the streets ripping out organs. Is this not sanctioned murder? How many politicians does GeneCo have in their pocket to get away with this? How many families have been devastated by GeneCo's default clause? Ive heard that the 90 day grace period is often times ignored as well. How much longer can we cover our eyes and just let one corporation control the lives of millions? Something has to be done!"

A letter from a former GeneCo employee discovered...

My name is Brian Terkel and just recently, years after the mysterious death of my grandfather, I found the following letter amongst many in a locked box hidden in his home.

"My name is Dr Steven Terkel and I am a chemical engineer and employee of the nefarious corporate entity known as GeneCo.

While holding the position of Research and Development project leader in their early years I was part of the group who were responsible for discovering the basis of what would eventually become the narcotic Zydrate. Our studies were scrutinized and controlled heavily by the government as well with explicit instructions that their involvement was of the utmost secrecy and we were all ordered to sign strict confidentiality clauses that of which imprisonment was a clear punishment for disregarding.

During that time the first wave of NOS was devastating the globe. GeneCo had started labeling their genetically engineered organs with a barcoding system that would enable them to be tracked, in case recovery of their "property" became an issue. During my studies another scientist was put at the helm of our endeavors and I noticed our tests were becoming more and more geared to areas which were against my moral and ethical beliefs. I took it upon myself to monitor and record the data we were collecting and to my horror I discovered that the drug we had created would over time stimulate the nerve system in the same manner replicating the symptoms of NOS in organs not "barcoded" by GeneCo, meaning that with continued use, Zydrate would facilitate the need for further organ transplants. Shocked and disgusted my direction was clear, I had to expose the truth at all costs.

I must have drawn more attention to myself than I thought, I noticed people around me were cautious about speaking to me, I began to receive mysterious calls with no one on the other end of the line. Then I found I was being followed and in an effort to protect myself, Ive left this note in a place where hopefully someday the truth can get out in case its too late for me. They have eyes everywhere, and now Im starting to believe the whispers on the streets, that there are indeed men being trained to repossess organs from the living, and maybe even more...

I hope I'm not too late, that something can be done, the Largos have placed themselves higher than God and it must not be allowed to continue."

The letter is dated March 3rd, 2037. I thought GeneCo was a decent organization, that their technology saved humanity. Now I see them as the monstrous murderers that they really are.

You do pay an arm or a leg when you deal with GeneCo!

Paul from Wyoming writes in:
"When my son lost his arm for our country, GeneCo was there to replace it. But when financial complications arose, GeneCo showed him no sympathy and they repossessed his arm. Did his service to our country mean nothing to them?"

Several calls to GeneCo have merited no result. They referred our investigator to their website, which details their 90-day delinquency clause in very fine print.

It reads:
"GeneCo allows no exceptions to the 90-day grace period, for any organ loans that go beyond the ninety day grace period, a Genetic Repo Man will be dispatched to collect any and all GeneCo organs and all organs will revert back to GeneCo as rightful owner. In an effort to save our paying customers from paying higher premiums, organ repossessions may take place without anesthetic."

How can a company literally take away a customer's arm? This is the horror of the society that we live in. Someone must put a stop to this abomination of a corporation!

It seems we share the Internet with like-minded individuals.

We just received word from an informed citizen about C.A.R.E. They seem to be a group that is speaking out and helping those who have been subjected to the torture of being a GeneCo customer.

Over the next few days, we will be introducing you to our voices and delivering you the truth about this sinister organization.
